At the time, She-Twin loved her tulle-skirted dress, but didn't care for the idea of princesses or formal dance lessons. [She told the pediatrician her favorite color was black.]
Last night, our now eleven-year-old princess got the call she dared not hope for...she's been invited to embark on pointe class this season. Her elated smile---and excited leaping---upon hearing the news was near identical to the moment captured eight years ago.
Her enthusiasm and achievement warm my heart this mid-week.
