Habitual Hugs Make My Monday

Since they were wee, visits with their Great-Grandfather---more affectionately known as "Papa"---have always concluded with a tight hug.

Never one to take any endeavor lightly, a "Squeeze harder---you can do better than that!" bit of coaching from within the clutch is as predictable as the prolonged embrace.

In this season of snot and stomach issues, we use extra care when venturing out to Papa's place, not wanting to contaminate his community of often-vulnerable neighbors.

The day after Christmas, it became clear that our clinchers' growth is making these moments even more memorable.
